CENTRO STUDI INTERNAZIONALI
Ce.S.I. (Centro Studi Internazionali) was founded in 2004 by Prof. Andrea Margelletti.
Its activities are spurred by numerous requests from a wide array of clients who are drawn to the institute because of its record of excellence and professionalism. Central to the mission of Ce.S.I is the constant and active interest of its associates in current political affairs and in-depth political analysis.
The main areas of concern for us at Ce.S.I. are:
- The Mediterranean basin, in particular the Arab world and the Greater Middle East;
- Africa, with specific focus on the Maghreb, North Africa and the Horn of Africa;
- Central and South Asia;
- The Asia-Pacific;
- The Balkan region;
- The Russian Federation and the former Soviet States;
- The United States of America.
When mentioning our direct knowledge of situations and issues, we refer to a multifaceted approach, which becomes essential in order to avoid simplistic or erroneous interpretations the West presently cannot afford itself. This is acutely evident for issues such as international terrorism and religious extremism, phenomena which thrive on conflict and the absence of intercultural dialogue.
Ce.S.I. analyses and reports are geared towards the spreading of knowledge and underline the importance of Intelligence activities.
We avail ourselves of various research tools, and mainly thanks to the Internet, we can access a massive volume of information which just a few years ago would have been unimaginable.
Through its work, Ce.S.I. strives to stimulate and enrich the understanding of those who are eager and curious enough to go beyond the over-simplifications and superficialities of present-day international affairs reporting. Our hope is that of contributing to the moulding of a nuanced and unbiased approach to the world, promoting, when possible, innovative perspectives usually shunned by the mainstream media.
